A message from the Creative Beginning Preschool Board
April Saba, our Preschool Director, has announced her resignation from her position effective April 30, 2017.  She has served as Director of Creative Beginning’s Preschool for over ten years with great dedication and compassion for the staff and the school’s families.  The school has benefited from her leadership and will continue to thrive under the care of the excellent staff and teachers.  We wish her all the best in her future endeavors and are grateful knowing that the benefits of her hard work will continue.
The Preschool Board will begin making steps towards filling the vacancy and it is our intention to ensure the school continues with minimal disruption to its students and families into the next school year.  Please feel free to contact a board member with any questions.

Sincerely,
The Creative Beginnings Preschool Board

Deacon Prayer Emphasis
Pat Compton, April Deacon of the Month

I come to you this April, this exciting month, filled with the joy of spring bursting forth with the beauty that washes away the darkness of the dormant winter. I am reminded of the Joy of Easter, the Joy of our Risen Lord as we celebrate in the middle of the month. This Joy was the result of the darkness of the events that led to our Saviors death upon the Cross. I cannot know the depth of pain His suffering caused His Father, my Father. I, also, cannot know the depth of Love it took for my Father to give this Gift to me. What is even better is that He did this for THE WHOLE WORLD…for YOU AND ME…FOR YOUR NEIGHBOR…FOR THE PERSON YOU DON’T YET KNOW! There is no greater Love than this.

As you prepare your heart for Holy Week, may we be mindful that our Father’s free Gift to us cost Him dearly, yet it gave us the right to become His children. (John 1:12) Even as Jesus was on the Cross, He forgave those who hurt Him (Luke 23:34) and that this Cross reveals our sin at its worst and our Father’s Love at its best. (Mark 15:39) My heart leaps every time I think about, “I go and prepare a place for you.” (John 14:3)! This is because of Luke 24:6, “He is not here; He has risen!”

Bernard of Clairvaux wrote, “The true measure of God’s love is that He loves without measure.” This Gift He gave us that we celebrate, the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ is as everything of God…no width, no depth, no height…nothing can encompass the measure of His Majesty.

I say, “Amen and Happy Easter!”
