Please join us for this exploration of yoga philosophy and wisdom as a source of personal empowerment, radical acceptance, and spiritual freedom. Acclaimed teacher and lifestyle master Faith Hunter (based in both Washington DC and NYC) gives a talk on integrating yoga wisdom with real world personal experience and healthy living, and then leads us in a gentle asana class appropriate for levels, ages, and body types.
Faith Hunter is the creator of Spiritually Fly™, a philosophy that celebrates every moment of life, and uses yoga’s tools of sound both chanting & music, breath, and movement, in a fresh and modern way to encourage students to embrace their unique flow in life – on and off the mat. Her passionate and free-spirited teaching style is influenced by her study in Vinyasa, Ashtanga, and Kundalini styles of yoga practice.
If possible, please wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat with you. A limited number of mats will be available to borrow.
Open to all. Free admission.
No experience necessary.
Tea & light refreshments will be served.
