CONGRESSIONAL ART COMPETITION
The Congressional Art Competition is a statewide high school competition sponsored by Congressman Peter Welch. Teachers in every state select up to 5 pieces of artwork to be sent to each state house in all 50 states. A panel of judges selects the top winner in each state, and that piece will hang in the U.S. Capitol Building. Long Trail School has consistently received recognition for our students' work. The Awards Ceremony and Reception will be held on Mon., May 8 at the Gallery of Vermont College of Fine Arts in Montpelier. We are proud to have five students representing Long Trail School: Gretchen Hammell Grade 9, Hope Soucy Grade 10, Eli Sanderson Grade 11, Sionann Harrington Grade 11, and Anna Pace Grade 11.
ELEPHANT'S GRAVEYARD
Long Trail School's Actors Anonymous will travel north to Lamoille HS this Friday for the two day Vermont state one act festival. Long Trail is performing at 6:30 on Saturday. Please wish these young thespians luck!
