Church Board Update:
The board met on Tuesday, March 21. Below is a brief update from the board.
Praise God for His Provision
The board was delighted to learn that Skyview will be the recipient of a generous donation of high end office furniture to use in our new facility. We are most grateful to Shelly Wilson for arranging this donation. Please continue to hold up our building process and capital campaign in prayer. Please pray that God would continue to provide for our needs as we build a permanent home for Skyview. If you would like to donate or contribute to your current capital campaign pledge you can donate here.
Associate Pastor Hire
Pastor Stuart presented the board with a tentative job description for an Associate Pastor. This followed the ratification of our 3 Year Strategic Plan in which Pastor Stuart, board members, ministry leaders, and committee members identified Outreach, Discipleship, and Leadership Development as our primary focus over the next 3 years. The board is currently reviewing the job description and providing feedback. The completion of this process will enable us to move forward in seeking and hiring an Associate Pastor. Please keep this process in your prayers.
Annual Celebration!
Skyview’s Annual Celebration will take place Sunday, April 30! During our regular service time we will have an opportunity to hear from Pastor Stuart, our Finance Committee, and various Ministry Leaders to hear what God has done in our community over the last year. It’s been a unique and significant year in the life of Skyview. Please plan to join us that morning as we eat, praise, and fellowship together!

Upcoming Graduation Celebrations!
The Hospitality Team is planning our celebration for post-secondary graduates. If you or someone you know should be recognized in this area, please email hospitality@skyviewcurch.ca or speak with Laury or one of the hospitality team members.
Skyview Reaching Out
Skyview stories will return on May 7! This is an opportunity for us to share with one another what God is doing in our lives. On the first Sunday of each month there will be space during the service for people to come up and speak of what God has been teaching them, to tell of something they are grateful for, to offer an encouraging word, or to speak of where they have seen God lately. We all have stories to share, and we help to build up the church when we share them! Please consider sharing yours.
We will be having our next SRO meeting one week from now on Monday, April 10th at 7pm. The meeting will be held at the Ashton residence. Snacks and beverages will be provided. Anyone who is interested in the outreach activities of the church is welcome, so invite others to come along! We will be discussing an exciting new proposal for an initiative in the area of missions, as well as other things so it should be a good meeting!
