"What if the only difference between people is the brightest of their light?"
Last year at this time everything was covered in ice. We were house bound for days during Spring Break. I sought something wonderful to fill the time and decided to finish a book that I started in 2013. Each night I would stay up until 3 am or 4 and hammer out a chapter. Each day I would wake up, tear into the same chapter and edit and edit and keep editting. The book took shape and spoke to what we love about the land, food, farming and the interconnectiveness of all of life.
When I first read Jonathan Livingston Seagull and the Alchemist, I would often dream of doing what Richard Bach and Paulo Coelho did, which is to write a tiny book that takes you on a spiritual journey and answers the big questions of why we are here and why our lives matter.
My hope is that the book does that - it tackles the big issues - from improving soil health to dealing with depression. I decided in those cold, icy days to fold it all in together.
The Kindle version of the book debuted on my birthday last September. The physical copy took longer to create. It is finally done and looks really lovely.I could not be happier with it.
My hope is that you will be just as happy with it. This hard copy version has a special scene that the Kindle doesn't. I wrote it for you.
