Wormholes and work weeks
Welcome to #29, and a new format for Keeping Tabs.  It will allow editions of KT to come out more regularly. Previous editions can still be seen on the Trello board.

On 1 April, we will enter our 104th quarter of economic growth without recession, and officially claim the record for the longest period of economic expansion in history. Australians like breaking records. We’re usually pretty smug when we beat the world at anything. But this particular record is unlikely to generate much popular excitement, and with good reason – most of us aren’t feeling the benefits.

What is Keeping Tabs?
You're receiving this because you came to an event (1st, LAST, Spark the Change/Dare Festival), a course that Tabar organises, or asked to be kept up to date with what we are doing.

Keeping Tabs is a digest of reading, audio and video. You'll find articles about workplaces, change, management, leadership, lean thinking, agile and more. We see a lot of links come through our feeds, and we flag the most promising ones. Then we curate them into a digest.

We have been doing this since the middle of 2015; you can access the archive on the Trello board back to November 2015. The board also lists Meetups that we know about (and some that Tabar sponsors) as well as updates about some of the things we are involved in, such as organising tours of the Toyota Altona plant, conferences and training that we organise.

The 3 interest categories that we send messages about are:
  • conferences like 1st, LAST and Spark the Change
  • courses we organise from management, agile and lean experts;
  • the meetups, learning tours and other learning opportunities, such as the Keeping Tabs digest
You can adjust these preferences at any time, or you might even like to forward this to a friend.
If you find anything you think is interesting and should be in Keeping Tabs, please let us know! We hope you find this info useful. However we do realise that your circumstances change and you may wish to change what you receive.
