Luncheon Save the Date: May 2, 2017

We were excited to see so many of you at our inaugural One World \ One Northwestern Luncheon on Valentine's Day. Save the Date for our Spring Quarter luncheon on Tuesday, May 2, from 12:00 - 1:30 pm, at Guild Lounge in Scott Hall on the Evanston Campus.

May’s luncheon will feature three guest speakers: Feinberg's Dan Young presenting a profile of the Center for Global Health, Kellogg's Jennifer Gerard discussing best practices in managing international partnerships, and OGSS's Julie Friend describing Northwestern’s international health insurance and assistance programs. There will be an ample amount of time for networking after these short presentations. Eventbrite invitations will be sent in a few weeks.

Communication Tool Testers Needed

We have been looking into communication and collaboration tools that can serve as a virtual network for our community - a platform where we can ask questions, share resources, offer best practices, or just connect over a common topic. After extensive research, we picked two finalists: Trello and Northwestern's Yammer - and we ask you to pick the winner! We have set-up a dashboard on both platforms and are looking for volunteers to test the applications and give us feedback. This includes 15-30 minutes of testing, and a lunch hour of feedback and free pizza. If interested, please email Janka Pieper by April 12.
