This housing crisis knows no county lines or city boundaries — so when it comes to solving it, we all need to work together!
Welcome Home is leading an effort to identify revenue tools that will bring more affordable homes to Gresham, Milwaukie, Wilsonville, Beaverton, Hillsboro, and the other 19 cities too! We know the need for affordable homes is great: it's more than 63,000. It's time we link arms and fight for solutions for seniors, neighbors with disabilities, and families with children all across the region who need a home they can count on.
This month, we're asking you to get to know your Metro Councilor and ask them to step up for housing solutions! Find outwho your Councilor is, and make Metro two of your callsthis week — your Councilor and Metro President Hughes! Tell them why more affordable homes in your neighborhood matter to you.

Felicia lives in affordable senior housing created by REACH! She lives close to parks, public transit and grocery stores in the Pearl District, and her rent will always be affordable on her social security income. Felicia's home makes all the difference in her life. That's why she fights for more affordable homes, and why we must continue to fight for this same opportunity for all Oregonians.
