There is sun in the forecast!  :)

What a cold and dreary day - it is Friday though, so that really makes it better. Hopefully you have the weekend off and there's few cool things going on for you to check out, as well of plenty up ahead as spring warms up and summer heats up! In the meantime, Sunday, there is SUN in the forecast and the temperatures are slowwwwwwly creeping up!

I haven't had time to work on the calendar this week, because planning for Alive on 25 has consumed my time along with other miscellaneous projects and then there's meetings, meetings and more meetings and then there's the kids schedule..
wow - I need a schedule for my schedule!!

But here's the link: www.mainstreetagency.org.
Reminder: You can add events as long as they fit in community,
local events, festivals, music, arts, tourism and similar..

Here's some of my picks for you to check out this weekend...
(or coming soon!)

~Please enjoy and pass on~

MINI EVENT REVIEW!  "The FUTURE IS FEMALE"
So you missed this one, last Thursday, or maybe you were there! March 23,  Dark Horse Restaurant was filled with women of all ages and a few brave male souls. I must admit, I'm not really "educated" in theater and poetry but I went out to support two incredible women I know - Cindy Clifford and Debbie Slevin. They have been working hard and everything they put together is great.. They will be bringing the first East End Fringe Festival to downtown Riverhead this year (see below).

All I can say is that energy was really great and I felt like I was a part of something, not just a passer-by this time... that the people in this room all have a story and a reason for being there... it was inspiring and hopeful all in one. I had not brought my teenage daughter, but in hindsight, I wish I had - she would have been inspired by the diversity, courage, strength and unity in the room.  For a in-depth review and photos - here's a link to a blog written by Miranda Gatgewood:

The East End Fringe Festival:
This diverse and intimate theatrical event will debut Summer 2017 at the historic Vail Leavitt Music Hall.  As a catalyst for cultural and community development, The East End Fringe Festival is dedicated to connecting adventurous emerging and established artists, appreciative audiences and supportive businesses and organizations to foster the growth of creative arts on Long Island.

LEAVING YOU WITH SOME INSPIRATION FOR THE WEEKEND... ~ENJOY~

"WE CAN FIND A WAY" Is an inspirational song meant to take the listener on a musical journey to let them know there is always a way to find yourself living your dream, living your passion by way of staying positive and present in your life. Faith, Hope, inspiration along with forgiveness and introspection, are the building blocks to happiness as well as our own commitment and desire to "Be Happy" I believe this is how "We Can Find Our Way " to succeed.
