Busch Award recognizes an individual for innovative research in the field of water quality and the water environment, with a special focus on those who show promise and make significant contributions in bridging research and its practical application. The award comes with a grant of $100,000 to continue their work.

Details of urban N and P budgets. Sarah Hobbie, Jacques Finlay, Ben Janke, Dan Nidzgorski, Dylan Millet, and Larry Baker published a report detailing sources of urban N and P pollution. N sources were dominated by household activities -- especially, fertilizer and pet waste.
