Animal Medical Center of Seattle is dedicated to the needs of our veterinary community and our clients. 

Animal Medical Center of Seattle is a privately owned, specialty and emergency veterinary hospital. Our goal is to assist our veterinary community in the treatment of patients, when advanced medicine, diagnosis or emergency care is required. We work closely with referring veterinarians to assess the pet’s needs and provide specialized treatment, when necessary.

We value the relationships we have with our referral veterinarians and recognize the vital role they play in the patient’s treatment and final outcome. Our top priority is working with a pet’s primary veterinarian and family to provide excellent, coordinated and compassionate medicine.

Animal Medical Center of Seattle understands the importance of the relationship between clients and their primary veterinarians. After treatment at our hospital, pets will return to the care of their regular veterinarian for continued medical needs.

Animal Medical Center of Seattle serves as an extension of the family practice. We care for patients on a referral, emergency or specialty needs basis patients on a referral, emergency or specialty needs basis. This means, when your cases require advanced diagnostic testing or procedures beyond the scope of general practice, we are here to help.

We want to ensure we provide a positive and convenient referral experience for our veterinary community. To refer a Computed Tomography (CT) case to Animal Medical Center of Seattle, simply fill out the referral form here and fax it to us at 206-204-3858 or email it to amcsclientservices@specializedcare.pro. If you wish to speak with our Internal Medicine Specialist prior to referring your patient to us, please give us a call at 206-204-3366 and we would be happy to assist you!
Animal Medical Center of Seattle is proud to announce the addition of a C-arm to our facility!

We are now equipped to provide fluoroscopic guided tracheal and urethral stent placement. Please contact our  Internal Medicine Department for more information.
In internal medicine we specialize in diseases of the hepatic, respiratory, urogenital, endocrine,and gastrointestinal system including patients with dysphagia. We have the capacity for upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy, cystoscopy, rhinoscopy, bone marrow aspirate/biopsies, arthrocentesis, esophageal balloon dilation, endoscopic foreign body removal, and placement of feeding tubes (PEG, esophageal, nasogastric). We also perform abdominal ultrasounds and ultrasound guided fine needle aspirates and have on site CT and fluoroscopy. We are proficient in tracheal and ureteral stent placement.

During my second quarter teaching at Globe I was stuck with a parasitology class and was none too pleased. Even though I love lab work, poop wasn’t really doing it for me. I reluctantly began the quarter and quickly realized how fun and important these little bugs really are. I even took my class to one of the local dog parks to collects fecal samples to analyze in class and the students loved it!
