Glimpses of our Life in Ukraine

March 2017

Dear family and friends, we want to send more frequent updates about our life & ministry here in Ukraine to all of you who support us in any way or simply want to stay closer in touch – a few more glimpses of our life here. =)

Family: Bogdan turned 6! The older kids have working hard with their music and regular homeschooling. They probably enjoy art (Raia and Asya) and theater (Jaan) more than music and regular school, but they do wonderfully with all of it.

Also, my sister Anna came to visit.

Orphanage:
With the sickness, Phyllis wasn't able to make as many visits to the orphanage, but we’ve been very happy that the kids are still getting their visits. We encouraged Alys to actually hire a new helper. That means Alys and her new helper have been out there instead of Phyllis, the times she couldn't go.

Between sicknesses we were able to spend some time with Oksana (our friend who graduated from the special needs orphanage) since she's come back from her last medical trip to the USA.

Agape: We were quite sick for much of the month, but I was still able to work on translations, social media, and correspondence for Agape. That's already picking up for the summer camp season. Also, there’s a new feature on Agape’s Russian page, the staff wanted to share their daily Bible reading schedule with anyone who wants to join in. (One more thing for me to do!)
