Greetings,


There is one strong left for Module 6.  I will that everyone is progressing.  Brother Justin wanted to share his insight for this lesson.  Make sure you are all taking notes of the experiences you're having, questions you may have, or any happenings that occur during these lessons.  You will appreciate it later.



Please continue to share your experiences with other students involved in the challenge.

The next lesson will be on constructing shrines and altars.  This is a VERY important lessons.  Make sure you prepare yourself properly so that you will be ready to go. The materials that you will need for the next lesson are:

  • White Cloth
  • Small Terracotta pot with a top
  • Flower pot (at least 10” deep)
  • 1 Quartz Crystal
  • Red String
  • 1 lock of your hair
  • 3 of your finger nails
  • Sea Salt
  • Spring or River/Stream water
  • Nine White candles
  • Two ceramic, glass, or wooden bowls
  • A bag of cowry shells (enough to fill one of your bowls)
  • A small bag of cotton
  • Sage Frankincense
  • 9 White Candles
  • 1 Multi Colored Candle
  • Dried White Sage Leaves
  • Cedar Smudge Stick
  • Dark rum
  • Dark Beer
  • White Cloth or Wooden Mat
  • Pictures of your Ancestors
  • If possible a small pot of graveyard dirt from a plot one of your ancestors was buried (put into one of the clay pots)
  • Artifact from your deceased (shoe heel, perfume, pipe, glasses, books, etc...)
  • Wooden Bowl
  • Glass of Water
  • 2 clay pots (One pot you'll grow a plant in)
  • 2 Stones or Esu/Elegba/Lucero, or Esu statue
  • Terracotta Tray
  • Red Cloth
  • Black Cloth
  • Red Palm Oil
  • Dark Rum
  • A cigar
  • Equilateral Cross
  • Pictures or Statues of the following: Pan, Loki, Tehuti/Thoth, Ganesha
  • 3 Keys
  • Black Cloth to paint on
  • Red Paint
  • One Red Candle and one black
  • The 8 stones from your “Fire, Water, Wind, and Earth Activity”
This is quite a list of supplies.  But you will be building more than one shrine/altar. Start gathering the materials so that if there is something you may need to order, you will have it in time to complete the lesson.
