After a couple of months I'm back with a new list. Enjoy!
I also went through my whole eBay stock and reduced most of them by about an average of 40% so there's some good deals to be had: http://stores.ebay.com/Diggin-Dave-45s
SHIPPING is €7 to anywhere in the world for any number of records from the list. Int'l signed for shipping is €13.
The Icemen – It’s time you knew / It’s gonna take a lot – Ole-9
Northern dance floor filler but the vocally gifted pairing of Gino Armstrong and James Stokes. Backed up with an equally amazing sweet ballad.
Stevadors – Southside / Misty – Savannah International 1102
Insanely rare and insanely good Georgia stepper with a crisp open break right at the start and far out synths in the background throughout. First time I’ve ever seen a clean copy of this.
Dick Blake – Cleveland glide / Instrumental – D.K.G. 902007
One of the only known copies of this Ohio disco mover and a reluctant sale from the collection. Very unique sound too. I’ve always preferred the instrumental cause the guy simply cannot sing.
The Interpretations – Here I am in Georgia / Instrumental – Flaming Arrow 56
Argubly the best release on this legendary Detroit label. Beautifully arranged tune with insane harmonies and crisp drums. If you sleep on this you might regret it.
Second release on the Timmion side label that seems determined to only release face melting sweet ballads. Already repressed twice but this is the OG with the picture sleeve.
Vass Corporation – All the love we lost / One more day – Kay-Dee 018
Amazing sweet soul that was never released until it was discovered by a local collector and put out on Kenny Dope’s label in 2008. Still not widely picked up but essential stuff IMO.
