Sirdar & Plymouth
Beyond Puerperium is a sweet baby sweater from Kelly van Niekerk. The shop sample is size 6-12 months and used one skein each of Sirdar Snuggly DK (the solid) and Crofter DK (the self-patterning lower section). Sirdar keeps their color selections fresh, so the exact combo I used is no longer available. Just for fun, I pulled out some other color pairings from the stock that arrived last week.
The shelves of Plymouth Encore are also full again, there's more Encore Mega, and I added colors of Homestead Tweed (which I used for the First Watch sweater).

Flip Stix
These colorful DPNs from Addi have one tapered tip, and one blunter one, giving you options when deciding which is best for your project. It's like having the utility of two different sets of needles. For this test run, I ordered sizes US 0-4.

That green marker marks the row I was about to rip back to. Far later than I would have liked, I realized that I'd missed an increase on one side of the front brioche sections, and it was something I definitely needed to correct. Wailing and gnashing of teeth ensued. You can see the pile of ripped yarn on my project page.

I've started this Japanese-inspired cardigan sized for babies and children, using the budget-friendly Hayfield Baby Chunky. (It would also be lovely in Malabrigo Mecha.) I'm in the early stages, currently working the sleeves and upper bodice, which are knit side-to-side. Looking forward to the contiguous set-in pockets--it's always fun to try something new!
