Land Use Committee (LUC) Agenda Item
The following information item has been added to the agenda of the Rancho Penasquitos Planning Board Land Use Committee meeting on Wednesday, April 5.
Junipers Community Plan Initiation Process Update – Max Frank/Jeff Wormoth (Information Item)
33North Development has asked the LUC Chair to include them on the April 5, 2017, LUC meeting agenda so they can present their concept for redeveloping the golf course parcels.
Hopefully, there will be time for comments or questions during the LUC meeting. If keeping the open space open is important to you, you should plan to be at this meeting.
The proposed Villages & Juniper plans and the recent Cresta Bella development would result in a nearly 50% increase in the number of household units in the area! Which means a large increase in vehicle traffic, increase in emergency response times and increase in fire safety/evacuation times. All of these items have a negative impact on the quality of life in our area.
If there isn't time allotted for public comment during the LUC meeting, you can speak or have your comment read during the Public Forum agenda item at the regular RPPB meeting. The RP Planning Board meets at 7:30 pm April 5, just fill out a "Request to Speak" card at the start of the meeting, hand it to a board member and you will have up to 3 minutes voice your concerns starting at 8:12 pm.
