Which yoga poses does your body need? Whether you're doing a yoga class, private yoga lesson, or a yoga DVD at home, listen to your body's likes and dislikes.
Trust the intuitive messages of your body through physical sensations and feelings.
Then follow through with doing more of the poses that felt meaningful or necessary. More inquiry might be needed with yourself or with a teacher to decide if the uncomfortable poses are going to be beneficial or harmful for your body.
