We hope you will join us for a special day out on Saturday 17th June at Thames Valley Adventure Playground. This fantastic venue is on a 2.5 acre site adjacent to the A4 in Taplow, near Maidenhead, the Playground is open to children and young adults with all types of special needs, however mild or profound, their siblings and parents/carers. One of our trustees has visited and has seen the variety of activities both inside and outdoors. Outside this includes a zip wire, tree top trail and a castle and inside a playroom, an excellent sensory room and soft play. We feel there is something for everyone whatever their age or needs and whatever the weather!  We really hope you will be able to join us and meet some other families.
 
The event is free to CMV families though a refundable deposit is required to secure a booking (unfortunately there were quite a few no-shows at last year's event). Our wonderful volunteers will be sorting out some tasty afternoon treats for the kids.  Please bring a picnic lunch and coins for the tea/coffee vending machine. Some activities involve water so a change of clothes too! 
 
We have exclusive use of the playground and there will be support volunteers and trustees there to chat to.  You are free to use whatever you want. This will be a fun day out for all the family so please keep the day free and look out for details of how to book in the next few weeks, but in the meantime if you have any queries please contact us at info@cmvaction.org.uk.  Families and friends are welcome but we will need to know numbers in advance.
