Dear Friend for Life

I would like to take this opportunity, on behalf of Dame Colleen Bayer and all the Family Life International NZ team, to wish you and your family a very blessed and holy Easter.  

It is precisely because of Jesus' great act of love and the triumph of life over death that we have hope and joy, knowing that one day a culture of life and a civilization of love will be victorious!

For those of you who have participated in 40 Days for Life, you have, to some extent already begun to enter into the passion of Our Lord.  You have also stood at the foot of the cross, where God's precious infants, made in His image and likeness, have been crucified.  For this act of great love and selflessness, I thank you.

Over the coming days, you may have some down time...  In which case you may be interested in watching the video Matt Britton, Chair of 40 Days for Life produced about his visit to New Zealand.  It is great to see so many people on the video who participated in the vigils in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.

We've also just printed our latest Family Life magazine which has informative articles while keeping you up-to-date with many of the activities we have been working on.  In this edition we also introduce you to some of the babies whose lives were in grave danger of abortion, but were saved because their mothers sought help from our Family Life Pregnancy Centre.  You can read the online copy on our website.

Finally, please pray over the coming Easter weekend for all mothers who will discover they are pregnant in the coming days, especially for those who face many difficulties in their lives and are abortion vulnerable.  Please also pray for abortion workers that their hearts may be changed, their eyes opened and for their complete and unreserved conversion.

Thank you for your support of Family Life International, for your love of the preborn and their mothers and fathers and for all those entrenched in the culture of death and who are in need of our prayers.  May God bless you and your families abundantly today and always!
