Welcome to the spring edition of Hearing Centre Headlines for 2017

It's been a busy start to the year and we can't believe that Easter is almost upon us already!

Lots of exciting things have been going on at Mary Hare School, including a former pupil appearing on the BBC series - The Big Painting Challenge. And the reopening of the refurbished swimming pool, thanks to the Sink or Swim appeal. Thursday 4 May is Wear IT Loud day and we'll be clearing our diary of appointments, for that day, so people can drop in for a free hearing assessment.

Easter opening hours
Please make a note of our opening hours for the Easter weekend.
Thursday 13 April: 9am-1pm, 2pm-5pm
Friday 14 – Monday 17 April: Closed
Tuesday 18 April: 9am-1pm, 2pm-5pm

 
Hearing aid care tips for your Easter getaway
If you’re jetting away somewhere a bit hotter this Easter, take a minute to read our top holiday hearing aid care tips.
15 minutes of fame for Mary Hare businesses
Mary Hare's businesses, Arlington Laboratories, the Hearing Aid Repair Shop and Arlington Arts Centre recently featured alongside the School on BBC South Today. It wasn't quite 15 minutes - more like just under 2! Watch now.
Wear IT Loud
Every year pupils and staff at Mary Hare School dress up in their loudest clothes to raise funds for the Mary Hare Foundation. This year Wear IT Loud takes place on Thursday 4 May.
Refurbished pool reopens
The Mary Hare Foundation's Sink or Swim Appeal reached its fundraising target and the newly refurbished swimming pool was reopened on 8 March by Olympic legend, Duncan Goodhew. Take a look at the photos.

Recycle your unwanted hearing aids
Do you have a drawer full of old hearing aids that don’t work anymore? Don’t have a clue what to do with them? Send them to the Hearing Aid Repair Shop. For every unwanted hearing aid you send them, they’ll send you a FREE pack of batteries.
Save the date
This year, we'll be holding our annual Open Day on Tuesday 10 October at Arlington Arts Centre.
