The Wind sections will be held on August 16, 17 and 18 (Friday) in the Orchestral Room of Huntingtower School.
You are welcome to engage the services of our Official Accompanist at no extra cost (private practice sessions may be arranged, however, at your own cost).
The 12 - 16 years, "AMEB Grade 1-4" section is restricted to those studying up to and including AMEB Grade 4 (or equivalent standard). This section is perfect for those who may have waited until secondary school to start playing a wind instrument. You are also welcome to enter other wind sections, of course, to gain extra performance experience, assuming these are also of the same standard.
If your school is entering any of the Ensembles sections, then why not have a go at the solo sections?
The Wind sections offered are:
W01 Wind Solo, 12 years & under
W02 Wind Solo, 14 years & under
W03 Wind Solo, 16 years & under
W04 Wind Solo, 12 to 16 years
