The Scholefield Trust - Funding applications welcome

Dear Member,

You should have now all received your new 2017/18 Membership renewal forms in the post, as your current membership will expire on 31st March 2017.  We have an exciting new offer this year and I am sure you will not be disappointed.  You can renew for a little as £75 per year and start receiving support and free benefits and services straight away.  If you choose to renew, one of the exciting benefits of membership is eligibility to apply to The Scholefield Trust Fund below.

NE Youth member organisations are once again invited to apply for a grant of up to £1000 towards projects associated with their organisations.

A funding application form is attached for completion, the Scholefield Trust can only distribute limited funds per meeting and due to previous volume of applications emphasis is now placed on funding capital costs.

Applicants must wait two rounds before reapplying following a successful application (therefore if you received funding at the last round in October 2016, you can't apply again now until April 2018.
Completed applications should be returned directly me either by email or post (full contact details below) by cop Monday 17th April 2017 at the very latest, as late applications will not be considered.  The Trustees meet at the end of April and therefore applicants will be informed soon after.

NE Youth Member Forum

Dear NE Youth Member

As the Voluntary and Community sector is facing arguably one of its most difficult periods, NE Youth would like to offer some time and space in a friendly and supportive environment to allow time for reflection on some of the key challenges facing organisations and explore some potential new ways of working in the future.

NE Youth is committed to supporting its member organisations and would really encourage you to attend and take advantage of the opportunity to meet and share experiences with other members and likeminded people to improve the lives of young people, and hopefully come away with tangible next steps to feed into your current work.

For further information or to book places for up to 3 of your organisation; including committee, volunteers or paid staff then please complete this Doodle poll for preferred date / time or contact Louise Laws (Development Manager) 0191-272 7494 or louise@neyouth.org.uk.

An agenda will be sent out closer to the time, but please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions about these meetings or if there is any particular items / hot topics that you would like covered.

Light refreshments will also be provided
