The game went to a penalty shootout with St David’s emerging victorious.
ATHLETICS DAY
Last week saw the culmination of our short athletics season with the three inter-house events taking place on Thursday (Mini-Marist), Friday (Grade 1 and 2) and Saturday (Grade 3-7). All there days were a wonderful show of community spirit between boys, staff and parents and it felt fantastic to see everyone pulling in the same direction with much excitement and enjoyment. Thank you for buying into the spirit of these events and supporting the school. Thank you to Mr Eyles as MIC Athletics, and all the teachers involved for all their hard work, it is nothing short of amazing to see all the work that goes on behind the scenes to make days like this a reality.
As we come to the end of Term 1 and look forward to Term 2, the energy and hype on the sports field is all about rugby. It has been a busy week as we begin to get boys ready for what will be a tough season in May and June. Please note, that we will have fixtures from the 6 th of May, thus practices will begin as per the extra-mural timetable from Wednesday 3 rd May.
Thank you to all the parents for your support over a hectic first Term, we look forward to a fantastic Term 2.
