     Join AFCEA Hawaii on Tuesday, April 11th, 2017 and hear from keynote speaker Colonel Stephen E. Dawson, Commander U.S. Army Garrison, Hawaii.

     Colonel Stephen E. Dawson is a native of New Bedford, Massachusetts.  He received his commission from the Northeastern University ROTC program in Boston Massachusetts as a Distinguished Military Graduate in 1992 and was assessed into the Signal Corps.  He also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.

     Upon completion of Signal Officer Basic Course  and completion of basic airborne school, Second Lieutenant Dawson was assigned to Fort Bragg, North Carolina where he served as an MSE Area Signal Platoon Leader, Contingency Communications Platoon Leader, Company Executive in the 51st Signal Battalion (Airborne) and then as the Battalion Signal Officer for the 313th Military Intelligence Battalion in the 82nd Airborne Division.

1. “Parking 1” above. Preferred: In front of Hale Ikena. Often fills up rapidly after 1100 so an early arrival before 1100 works best. Several handicap spots are available under the entry Portico.

2. “ Parking 2” above: Adjacent to the golf course.

3. “Parking 3” above: In the gulch at the base of the entry road as shown.

REFUND POLICY: Luncheon registration refunds will be paid to the payee only if the luncheon registration(s) is/are cancelled prior to the 4:00pm registration deadline on the Friday immediately prior the scheduled luncheon.  Cancellation notices must be received as an email by either the Vice President of Programs (programs.vp@afcea-hawaii.org) or the Treasurer (treasurer@afcea-hawaii.org) prior to the aforementioned 4:00pm registration deadline.

     On March 7th, 2017 AFCEA Hawaii Young AFCEAN’s co-sponsored a Student Networking Mixer with HICTA (Hawaii Information Communication Technology Association) at Gordon Biersch.  20 professionals and 40 Information Technology Students attended and socialized to discuss internships, networking advice, career development, mentoring opportunities and open positions.​
