The things we do for love

Are YOU ready for Smigus-Dyngus? Otherwise known as Wet Monday, the day after Easter is celebrated in Poland and several other Slavic countries as a fertility festival dating back to pagan times. By the way, it is traditionally celebrated with Krupnik. Come and get your Dyngus on!
Originally, the boys would sneak up on the girls and drench them with water! Wait, there's more - the boys might also GENTLY tap the young ladies legs with branches of pussy-willow. Of course, these days, the ladies are free to exact revenge and douse the guys as well. But before you run out and try this on your heart's desire, you probably want to at least make sure she's Polish, or she might, you know, think you're weird.
Mixologist Corner
Normally, we like to provide a recipe here for you to try, but we're breaking that rule today. This is so interesting you just need to go see Tom out at Restoration Cafe in Manchester for one. Here's the "recipe" for a Bloody Englishman:
- 6 oz secret cold-pressed juice he makes from 14 fruits & vegetables
- 1.5 oz Djinn Gin
- Garnish with Chinese Celery and Lemon

Seriously, go get one.
Distillery Happenings
We now have Reserve Batch 9, a lovely whiskey expression, as well as our limited run of Dry Peach Cordial, our first fruit-based spirit - also excellent. Both are only available at the distillery (while they last).
