TCNJ launches partnership with Bryn Mawr's social work school
The College of New Jersey has launched a partnership with one of Bryn Mawr's graduate school programs that will allow some students to apply as early as their sophomore year and receive a 50-percent tuition break if admitted. TCNJ students majoring in sociology, psychology, public health and women's, gender and sexuality studies, as well as Bonner scholars, are eligible to apply to the social service master's program at Bryn Mawr's Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research. - The Times of Trenton

Allegheny College to honor U.S. Supreme Court Justices Ginsburg and Scalia
Two U.S. Supreme Court Justices will be honored Monday with the sixth annual Allegheny College Prize for Civility in Public Life in ceremonies in Washington, D.C. The 2017 award will be presented to Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and posthumously to Justice Antonin Scalia by James H. Drexel University opens new wellness hub
Drexel University has opened the Community Wellness HUB at 36th and Spring Garden Streets in West Philadelphia. The ribbon has been cut for the Community Wellness Hub at Drexel’s Dornsife Center for Neighborhood Partnerships. Volunteers provide healthcare for those in need in Norristown

St. Patrick Parish in Norristown is working with local clinicians, volunteers from Saint Joseph University, Mercy Health System, and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine to provide medical care for those in need. Juniata College students attempt to find mines dating back to the 1700s

Juniata College students were out studying mines Saturday afternoon. But first, they had to figure out where they actually were. In the 1700s, Pennsylvanians mined lead to make ammunition in and around the sinking valley. As part of a class project, Juniata College students were out surveying the area and measuring resistance in the ground in hopes to find the mines. - WJAC
