Happy end of the week Dotties!
One of my favourite things about working for myself is all the fun I can have with my work space. Crazy coloured post-it notes everywhere? Check! Sharpies in every colour? Check! Basically, I love the tale that is timeless amongst young singer-songwriters of I'm-a-bit-too-much-for-you and the romantic fall-out that ensues. Perfectly encapsulated in one line, "you see my red as blue" - Sigrid is pulling a solid burn on someone who has done a number on her.

I'm still pummelling through the soundtrack for Guardians Of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and I'm embarrassed to say that I had not heard this (what seems like) a very cult classic hit.

Airling
Airling first popped up on Triple J through their Unearthed program in 2014, I'm surprised she's not a bigger name already - everything makes sense for her to be. Brilliant voice, a now sound and an impressive debut album.

Golden Vessel (Feat Emerson Leif)
Impressive effort from a Brisbane boy who is now making waves in the US, it's gorgeous. Max Byrne is the man behind Golden Vessel who has penned a song which as he describes is "a shift away from the commonly portrayed idea of affection being earned, to love someone for exactly who they are, where they are, how they are."
