BLUEGRASS is coming to CUMC! Boston-based bluegrass group, Mile Twelve, will perform a concert to benefit Helping Hands. The group's mandolin player, David Benedict, is a native of Clemson, SC. The concert is scheduled to take place in the Christian Life Center on Tuesday, April 25 at 7:00pm. Tickets are $15 at the door, no advanced sales. Join Clemson UMC’s Celebration Ringers handbell choir as we Ring the Hymns of Faith.
Our spring concert will be Wednesday, April 26 at 6:15pm in the Worship Center. Hymns are at the core of our worship experiences, and we’d like to share with you some of our favorites, handbell style! As usual, you’ll hear—and see—some exciting handbell techniques while you learn about the hymns and their histories. See you on April 26! 

The Greater Clemson Music Festival invites everyone to an Old-Time Gospel Sunday Singing featuring WANDA JOHNSON AND FRIENDS in the Christian Life Center on Sunday, April 30, 12 noon to 3pm. Dinner plates will be provided by the Clemson Area African American Museum ($10 each) benefiting their community programs. Free event open to the general public. We encourage you to attend this event and hear African American Gospel the way it is intended to be performed!

We are hiring for the position of Director of Youth Ministry and Worship Leader for The Vine!!!
The Director of Youth Ministry/Worship Leader for The Vine will provide dynamic leadership and oversight to the youth ministry program at Clemson United Methodist Church, equipping youth and their families to grow in their faith and discipleship, and develop and direct The Vine Band, lead music for The Vine worship service, and work to provide an engaging, meaningful and high-quality worship experience.

Registration is open for Hero Central Vacation Bible School and Mission Mania!!
Vacation Bible School (June 12-16) is for rising 3K-rising 3rd grade and Mission Mania is for rising 4th-8th grades. Church members can visit the church website for more information and to register. Come adventure with your favorite Bible heroes to discover what makes us heroic in God!
Our Vacation Bible School program would not be possible without the amazing help and support from our volunteers. There are many ways to participate, and you do not have to have a child enrolled to come join the fun! Volunteer areas include snack, crafts, recreation, music,
mission work, and co-leading classrooms. All materials and resources are provided, no teaching experience needed! A nursery is provided if you have children under 3 or not yet potty-trained. Please visit the church website to register to be a volunteer!

Women from CUMC, the Foothills Quilt Guild, the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences from Meredith College in Raleigh, NC and volunteers from Rome, GA have collaborated to provide over 200 dresses for all the girls who attend the Madina Village School in Sierra Leone, Africa. The school is a United Methodist School. You can find more information and view a video at www.madinavillageschool.com.  
In cooperation with Children’s Ministry of CUMC, the group invites anyone who would like to participate in this project to contribute girls’ and/or boys’ underwear in sizes suitable for ages 5-11. We will collect underwear until April 30 in boxes in the Narthex, the CLC lobby and the church office.
