'Birds of Prey' Lismore Community Hall, 6:30pm Friday 12th May 2017
Renowned raptor handler Martin Scuffins, from Leigh Valley Hawk and Owl Sanctuary, will give a presentation on our remarkable local birds of prey along with the star of the show 'Kevy' the Nankeen Kestrel. 'Kevy' will delight the audience with her acrobatics above their heads as she demonstrates her skills in the hall.
This free community event is presented by the Lions Club and Lismore Land Protection Group and funded by the Victorian Governments Community Volunteer Action Grants.

Landmate Environment Program workshops
Dates & locations: 2nd May - Beaufort
Workshops' objectives:
- Provide details on how the Landmate crews can help your environmental projects.
- Identify a range of environment projects with local, state or federal funding within 100km of a correction centre / Landmate crew.
- Connect DJR Landmate Managers and local organisations with funded environmental projects.
- Share outcomes from the 2016/17 year from across the state.
