We are excited to confirm that there is an increase in the number of graduates at Durban University of Technology this year.
A total number of 5796 students will graduate during the April/May 2017 graduation ceremonies that will commence in Pietermaritzburg on Tuesday, 25 April 2017. DUT’s autumn graduation numbers have increased by 378 compared to last year. A total of 970 students will graduate from the Midlands Campus and 4826 will graduate at the Durban graduation ceremonies.
STUDENT ACTIVIST AND LEADER, NKOSINATHI PHUNGULA GRADUATES
Former Midlands Campus SRC Deputy President, Nkosinathi Phungula will graduate on Tuesday morning (25 April 2017) during the Faculty of Arts&Design’s graduation ceremony.
Phungula will obtain his Bachelor of Education Degree at Indumiso Hall, in Imbali. He was the first student from DUT to be offered an opportunity to study for a semester programme at the King Juan Carlos University in Spain.
Mr and Miss DUT Green Campus Initiative 2017, Sifiso Blose and Thandeka Mchunu cannot wait to spread positivity towards environmental care to their peers.
Mchunu and Blose were recently crowned winners for the 2017 Miss Green competition which was held at the Fred Crookes Sports Centre, Steve Biko Campus.
