About the Forum
The Great Lakes Economic Forum was launched in Chicago in 2015 by the Council of the Great Lakes Region. It brings together hundreds of business, government, nonprofit and academic leaders from around the region each year to discuss the biggest economic, social and environmental policy challenges facing the binational Great Lakes-St. Lawrence Region and to share ideas and insights with respect to how the region can work together to create the most sustainable and economically productive cross-border region in the world.
