We are excited to announce a special invitation from the Cottage Grove Area Chamber of Commerce to join us in April of 2018 to Discover China!  As an exclusive benefit for Chamber members we are partnering with Citslinc International Inc. to provide a 9 day, all-inclusive tour of Beijing, Suzhou, Hangzhou and Shanghai for $2,099 per person.  Citslinc is one of the largest providers of foreign tours to China and works exclusively with over 800 Chambers of Commerce in Canada and the US.  Leo Lui, President of Citslinc, will join us and be available to answer any questions you may have about this amazing opportunity.  

This fully escorted trip is meant to be an introduction to the people, history, culture, commerce and daily life of this exciting country.  The itinerary is packed with sights and activities that will give you a full and rewarding experience.  There will also be an opportunity for Chamber members to make business contacts in China.  The trip departs on April 3, 2018, returning April 11, 2018.

Prices are based on two person shared accommodation, single occupancy is available for an additional charge of $600.  This trip is also available to non-Chamber members for an addition charge of $200 per person.

 
China Trip Itineraries to choose from

Itinerary 1
Day 1 4/3 Seattle/Beijing
Check in at Seattle International Airport for an afternoon flight by 2:00pm to Beijing. Your adventure begins as you fly trans-Pacific aboard a wide cabin jetliner. Cross the International Dateline.
 
Day 2 4/4 Beijing(Wanda Realm Beijing/5 star, Arrive in Beijing, the Capital of China at 4:55pm. You will be met by your local tour guide at the airport. Transfer to the hotel after dinner.
 
Day 3 4/5 Beijing
Sightseeing includes the Tian An Men Square, the largest square in the world; the Palace Museum, also known as the Forbidden City, home of 24 emperors with a total space of 9,999 rooms. Visit the Pearl Market. The Summer Palace, known for many significance such as the Long Corridor with painted gallery, Kunming Lake and Longevity Hill, Seventeen- Arch Bridge and Marble Boat. Peking Roast Duck dinner is arranged.
 
Day 4 4/6 Beijing
Visit the 2008 Beijing Olympic venues for the outside views of National Stadium the Bird’s Nest and the National Aquatic Center.  Continue the tour to the Great Wall. En route visit the Jade Factory. The Great Wall, the 4,000- mile long and 2,000 years old construction is said to be the only man-made structure visible by naked eye from the moon. Visit one of the Ming tombs, one of 13 Ming Emperors’ Tombs is fully excavated and open for exploration.
 
Day 5 4/7 Beijing
Morning sightseeing to the Temple of Heaven, built in 1420 A.D., where the emperors prayed to the heaven for a good harvest. Afternoon visit to the Lama Temple of the religion of Lamaism.
 
Day 6 4/8 Beijing/Shanghai/Suzhou(Grand Metropark Hotel Suzhou/4star.  light to Shanghai  HU7605 8:45am/10:55am,then take a bus riding to Suzhou. Afternoon sightseeing to the Tiger Hill.  
  
Day 7 4/9 Suzhou/Hangzhou(Crowne Plaza Hotel Hangzhou Xanadu Resort/5star.  Morning visit Suzhou Silk factory. Continue the tour with the centuries old Lingering Garden. Afternoon visit to the National Embroidery Institute to see silk embroidery, an important local craft with 1,000 years history. Take a bus riding to Hangzhou.
 
Day 8 4/10 Hangzhou/Shanghai(Renaissance Shanghai Caohejing Hotel/5 star. 
In the morning  have a boat ride on West Lake with relaxing stopover at jewel-like pagodas. Visit the Longjing Green Tea Plantation. The centuries old Lingyin Temple, with the main feature of the 64.3 ft-high camphor-wood carved Buddha. Continue the bus journey to Shanghai.                  
 
Day 9 4/11 Shanghai
The Bund, a famous waterfront park. Visit the Shanghai Silk Rug Factory. Afternoon enjoy the Yu Garden, a maze of marvelous pavilions, ponds, rocky works and over arching trees. Free time exploration of the old town bazaar. Visit the Pudong District.
 
Day 10 4/12 Shanghai/Beijing/Seattle
Take the morning flight 08:25am/10:50am to transit at Beijing then  flight at 4:20pm for Seattle where you will arrive at 12:05pm on the same day.

Day 7  4/9  Xi’an
In the morning  bus excurses to the Terra-Cotta Warriors at the Tomb of the First Emperor of Qin Dynasty. Enroute visit the Xian Art Ceramic &Terra Cotta Factory.  On the way back, visit the Ancient City Wall and Banpo Museum, a preserved pre-historical cavemen site.
 
Day 8 4/10 Xi’an/Shanghai (Renaissance Shanghai Putuo Hotel/5 star, Flight to Shanghai 9:35am/11:35am followed by the sightseeing .Visit the Shanghai Silk Factory.
                     
Day 9 4/11 Shanghai

Day 10 4/12 Shanghai/Seattle
