WASTE MANAGEMENT OPTIMIZATION
Parkway is making a major push in 2017 to improve overall recycling rates and reduce waste hauling costs for the benefit of our tenants and the environment. We are currently evaluating our existing waste management and recycling infrastructure at each of our properties, and we are actively identifying opportunities to improve recycling performance across our portfolio. Our long-term goal is to increase our overall landfill waste diversion rate to 75% by 2023.

NEW HEALTH AND WELLBEING PROGRAMS
Parkway has taken multiple steps to promote improved health and wellness for our tenants and employees at several of our properties. We recently redesigned and expanded the on-site fitness centers at both San Felipe Plaza and Phoenix Tower. In addition, we re-invented the on-site food services at San Felipe Plaza with a much greater emphasis on healthy menu offerings. We also offered a "coffee and color" stress management program for tenants at CityWestPlace, San Felipe Plaza, and Phoenix Tower, and we sponsored local rodeo activity fairs at CityWestPlace, Greenway Plaza, and Post Oak Central.
NEW SUSTAINABILITY SIGNAGE
We have made great strides toward improving the efficiency of our buildings by tracking data and making upgrades at our properties. We are now taking steps to further involve our tenants in our sustainability initiatives. Parkway recently created a new series of informative energy, water, and waste management signs that can be posted throughout each building. Signs like these offer simple reduction tips and strategies to make any office suite greener.
