May 22nd:  Oakland Book Fest- Join Joan as she hosts the WNBA table with WNBA/SF members. Come join and celebrate books, literacy and reading!

June 13th: Joan will be doing a live reading at the Tuesday Reading Series at the Barkin' Dog Grill. Joan is one of two featured authors. Event begins at 6:00pm and is open to the public.

June 27th: Northern California Book Awards will take place at the SF Public Library where Joan will read final selections for the Poetry Award. Event begins at 5:30pm and is co-sponsored by WNBA/SF. Reception to follow.
