Stop Artificial Trump Investments

Hi <<Name>>

Happy Easter holiday weekend everyone! I've not written a blog post in over a week now. Partly because I've been busy with work but mainly because I've been spending my early morning time developing my own creative projects and going for a run. Doing some exercise first thing in the morning is great, and I came across this article suggesting I'm extending my life doing it. Hopefully two-four hours a week should be possible to form as a habit.

On to the stories. If you think someone would be interested in one of them you can send them this newsletter, and also let them know where to sign up.

First, I've got a new giveaway for you! This time you can win a clever butter knife and a new paper wallet. There's two winners this time, and don't go thinking you can't enter if you tried to win the game last time - it's open to all. The lucky winner of the last giveaway was Nate, and the Irrational Game is speeding it's way through the postal system to him now. Congratulations Nate! I hope you enjoy playing it.
I apologise for my bias towards articles related to Trump, but I've got a morbid fascination with people's reactions to this political car crash. The latest project is someone creating a bot that makes investment decisions based on Trump's tweets. It's a great idea but with mixed results. I suppose he'll have up to 8 years to refine the algorithm.
At work we often refer to this great TED talk on how we tie our shoelaces in the wrong way. Well now there's been a nerdy, and probably completely unnecessary, piece of research done in to exactly why shoelaces come undone. Turns out that it's not a solution for fastening something to your feet.
I'm a bit of an Elon Musk fan boy and this is an thought provoking article about how he's working hard to prevent the AI apocalypse. I'm more convinced it's something we should be thinking about, but I struggle to worry about it. It's a great read nonetheless.
Seeing as it's a bank holiday weekend, I thought a longer more immersive game would be appropriate. Norco is like an interactive sci-fi novel based on the 8 bit pixel art adventure games that make me feel nostalgic and old. Get some headphones on and sink in to this demo.
One of the projects I'm working on is a tool to help people create newsletters like this more easily with MailChimp. If that sounds like something you'd be interested in, then head over to the Fanticles site and sign up for updates. I'll be sure to announce it in this newsletter when it goes live too.

Have a great two weeks. Email me if you feel like it, or take to twitter if that's your communication medium of choice. I'm off to eat hot cross buns.

Cheers,

Paul. (Bunkers)
