Save the Date: C0ding Afternoon
The French and British Sections are coming together to offer TES’ first ever coding afternoon on Saturday May 27th from 1:00-5:00pm. There are 48 places available for students from CE1, CE2, CM1 and CM2 (Y3-6 in the BPS). Enrolled students will have the chance to take part in six different coding workshops during the afternoon. Places are free and can be reserved via Eventbrite from next Monday 24 April at 5pm. First come first served!
Save the date: International Language and Culture Festival
TES International Language and Culture Festival is returning on Tuesday 9, Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11 of May. There will be a host of activities lined up for children including:
Tuesday 9 May: Europe Day Assembly and Infant Passport Adventure
Wednesday 10 May: International Food Festival
Thursday 11 May: International Parade

Parent support and participation is key in making these events a success for the children. Let’s make sure the French Section and all of our wonderful nationalities are represented.
Please see this letter from the teachers organising the food festival to see how you can help.
Parents who would like to sign up for the food festival or/ and infant passport adventure can do so here.
If you have any holiday photos from France that you would be happy to have featured in the Europe day assembly, please send them to joy.keith@tes.tp.edu.tw before Friday 5th May.

Pathway choices for 2017-2018
Please contact your child’s teacher and Min-Hui Chou at fssecretary@tes.tp.edu.tw to let them know of any changes to your child’s pathway for next year. A summary of the different pathways (French only, French-English, FAL, FAL+ and French plus) can be consulted here.

FAL students who have completed one year of FAL will automatically be enrolled for a second year of FAL and will be assessed by their class teacher in August 2017 to see if they need to continue FAL or not. All non-continuing FAL students will be reimbursed.
