Hey <<First Name>>,
Here's our April Newsletter!
APRIL NEWSLETTER
This month we have been reminded of God's faithfulness and encouraged by all the ways he is working through our staff, student leaders and adult volunteers.

CAMPUS HUDDLES
I had the opportunity to be on campus at the high schools quite a bit more the past two months. Whether speaking, promoting upcoming camps or just observing from the back it was encouraging to see how well the campus huddles are doing.

Speaking at St. Joe's Huddle

At St. Joe's I got to challenge the students about that it means to pursue God's purpose for their lives and live out His calling.

Chris speaking at Paso High

Chris did an excellent job speaking at Paso High recently. He is now full part time and is close to being fully funded! He has been a huge answer to prayer for the North County huddles. I enjoyed introducing him to our student leaders and advisors at Paso High.

Eric Bozeman at Nipomo High

Pastor, Eric Bozeman, shared about the recent loss of a family member and how God's faithfulness can carry us through hard times. It was a powerful message of hope that resonated with many of the Nipomo students.

Morro Bay High School FCA

Coach Reeves speaking at CP FCAIA

Assistant Cal Poly Basketball Coach Mitch Reeves spoke about "walking worthy of the calling" at our recent Cal Poly Large Group Meeting. We have actually had three Cal Poly coaches speak in the last month and a half which has been wonderful. One of the ways we have been seeing God move in our FCAIA group is the community that has formed and the depth of the relationships with many of the athletes in the group.

FCAIA Leadership Team

Our leadership team has done an excellent job this year leading the movement. These students have exuded servant leadership and a willingness to be used by God to reach their teammates and campus.

Food Bank Service Project

One of our recent outreaches we did with the athletes was helping at the local Food Bank Coalition of San Luis Obispo. We sorted food and made packages to give away to the homeless.
FAMILY UPDATE

Easter Morning Sunrise

Katie and I have really been enjoying this new season of parenthood. This Easter we decided to continue a Llamas family tradition by climbing the mountain behind our house to watch the sunrise, read the Easter story, and enjoy fresh muffins and hot chocolate. It definitely was the highlight of the holiday.
