Lakewood Business Brainiac Trivia

Congrats to Jan McConnell who was the winner of last week’s trivia question. ULI awarded Lakewood the first ever Impact Award in the Inspire Category for years of collaborative work with residents, businesses and others in the West Colfax Corridor.

Earth Day Celebration

Come to Lakewood’s Earth Day Celebration to find out what you can do to live more sustainably. At this year's festival, you can also get in a workout, hear live music and enjoy a beer while you learn about solar installations, composting and much more. This free event is 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on April 22 at the Lakewood Heritage Center, 801 S. Yarrow St. Don’t forget about the electronic recycling event next-door as well. Sponsored by the Alameda Gateway Community Association and Ace Hardware of Jewell Square, the celebration is a family-friendly and zero-waste event.
