Welcome to our newsletter for April, 2017. Sincere thanks to Altius Technical Services for supporting Richard to travel to Las Vegas and deliver 2 workshops. It was wonderful to meet so many skilled and competent rope technicians, and we hope that all who attended a workshop found it to be a valuable experience.

Richard will be returning to USA at the end of May as a presenter at the Mountain Rescue Association (MRA) National Conference, SARCon2017 in Boise, Idaho. The conference presentation will be focused on Lightweight Backcountry Roping. Richard is also delivering a 2-day pre-conference workshop, see details below, but why not come along to both!

Workshops

Silverwater, NSW, May 13-14: RopeLab Tripods and Winches Weekend Workshop. Hosted by Pinnacle Safety & Training. Bookings managed by RopeLab at $600AUD/person. RopeLab Online Members' 10% discount can be used. There is currently ONLY 1 PLACE LEFT on this workshop.

Boise, ID, May 31 - June 1: Lightweight Technical Equipment and Rescue Techniques Workshop. Managed as a pre-conference event by the Mountain Rescue Association (MRA). Bookings managed by MRA at $375USD/person. RopeLab Online Members' discount unfortunately cannot be offered.

Albany, NY, June 10-11: RopeLab Weekend Workshop. Hosted by Capital Technical Rescue. This workshop is fully booked. Please send us an email if you'd like to be on a waiting list in case last minute places become available.

Blue Mountains, NSW, September 4-8: RopeLab Advanced Rope Technician Workshop. Presented for the second time by Richard Delaney, RopeLab, and William Proctor, Safety Access & Rescue. Bookings managed by RopeLab at $1,650AUD/person. RopeLab Online Members' 10% discount can be used.
