Ribbon-Cutting Date Set: May 30

Mark your calendars, as we now have a date for the ribbon-cutting and celebration of the acquisition of the Trail property.  Tuesday, May 30 at 2pm in Gunnar Mettala Park in Wixom.  The park entrance is on Maple, about a quarter mile west of Beck Rd. Friends Group Next Meeting: May 2

Just a brief reminder that the second brainstorming/organizational meeting for the Friends of the Michigan Air Line Trail will be at the Commerce Township Hall tomorrow night - Tuesday, May 2 - at 7:00pm.  Please join us if you are interested.

If your trail interests reach further east along the Great Lake to Lake Trail, you might want to check out the Spring Speaker and Open House hosted by the Friends of the Clinton River Trail on May 23, featuring speaker Carol Bacak-Egbo, speaking on the history of the Dixie [Highway] Corridor.
