2 minutes late

Thanks to everyone who prayed for my safe and timely return from the UK. I arrived at the kids' piano recital only two minutes late, despite the thunderstorms nearby.

It was a blessing to be there, and a it's a blessing to be home. (At the same time, we're aware of those for whom the weather was more than a threatened disappointment, as East Texas was raked by tornadoes later that night.)

This will be a week for catching up on household tasks: laundry, yard work, homework, and Ruth's driver's ed.
