CALL FOR SINGERS on Canada Day

Whether you are a shower singer or belt out songs in your car when no one is around, The City of Niagara Falls wants to hear you sing it loud and proud on Canada Day as we celebrate 150 years of Canada, in partnership with Choir Nation.

Choir Nation provides an opportunity for people who love to sing, people who aren’t sure whether they can sing (you can!) and all those in between to learn an iconic Canadian song that you will get to perform as part of the Niagara Falls Canada Day Celebration.  Over a 60 minute session, in the Rosberg Family Park beside City Hall, Music Director Sarah Jerrom will bring everyone together and the finished product will be an incredible choir!

This event guarantees fun, some learning about proper vocal techniques and breathing for singers, and a sense of pride in what you can accomplish after you make your live music debut for the Opening Ceremonies at the Main Stage on Canada Day!
Find more details about Choir Nation at www.choirnation.ca.

Meet us on July 1 at 11:00 am at the Children’s Stage in the Rosberg Family Park at Queen & Erie.  Free Parking is available in all City Lots along Park Street.

Artists Database – needs Data to make it work for you

At the Cultural Summit in 2015, the community requested a digital network of information, a database that would allow artists to know who else is in the community and what supplies, materials or work could be communicated and shared with other artists in the community.
Rick Tisi volunteered to create the database, which is now available.
