Subcutaneous drug infusion compatibility guideline

The GRPCC Clinical Practice Group (CPG) has produced multiple guidelines and documents to assist health professionals and carers in recognising and delivering evidence based practice in palliative care.
The importance of evidence based practice cannot be underestimated in the palliative care environment, whether in the community, in residential aged care, or the inpatient setting. We will be featuring one of the guidelines each newsletter. This month highlights the subcutaneous drug infusion compatibility guideline

End of Life Essentials
Education of Acute Hospitals

Care Search has created education modules designed to assist clinical staff working in acute hospitals in delivering end-of-life care. They provide clinically relevant and evidence based learning materials with quizzes, evidence based links and educational videos. Clinicians are encouraged to examine their own practice and build on their individual expertise across a wide range of issues which are fundamental to quality end-of-life care in hospitals.

Doctors, nurses and allied health professionals will find specific resources and learning opportunities within each module for their own professional perspective.

They are free to use. They can be accessed on the web from anywhere in Australia.
