Peter Douglas, pianist, is a native of Dalton, Ohio and graduated
summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance
from Baldwin Wallace University Conservatory of Music (Berea, OH).
He will graduate with a Master of Music Degree in Piano Performance
at Ball State University (Muncie, IN) this summer where he is a full-time graduate assistant and will begin a Doctoral Degree in Piano Chamber Music/Accompanying in Fall 2017 with a full-time
assistantship in opera accompanying.
Peter studies piano with Dr. Ray Kilburn and organ with Prof. Raúl Prieto-Ramírez. Peter is an active church musician currently singing as a senior choral scholar at Grace Episcopal Church (Muncie, IN), and he has served previously as Music Director (Organist & Choirmaster) at Church of the Epiphany (Episcopal) in Euclid, OH and substitute pianist/organist at St. Mary Catholic Church in Wooster, OH.
He is a member of Dalton Presbyterian Church in Dalton, Ohio and served as pianist/organist during his high school years.
