School Uniform Expectations
Thank you for your continued support for the high standards of uniform that the school insists upon. In order that this continues I have made a few changes to the way we tackle the very small number of students who arrive at school in incorrect uniform.
Since the Easter break students arriving at school in incorrect uniform will not be allowed to attend lessons. We will contact you (usually via Parent Mail) to ask you for permission to send your child home to change, or for you to bring in the correct uniform. If neither are possible your child will work in isolation, away from the main body of the school until such time as the issue has been resolved.
We understand that there are occasional issues with uniform and in these cases students should arrive at school with a note from you explaining both the issue and how it is going to be resolved within the next couple of days.
To remind you:
- Trousers must be appropriate workwear. Students are not allowed to wear jeans or leggings
- Only pleated skirts are allowed
- Socks should be plain black
- Students must wear leather shoes. Boots and trainers are not allowed
- Only minimal make up is permitted. Excessive make up and nail varnish will have to be removed. Acrylic/gel nails are not permitted in school.
