Greetings, everyone:

During the fall season (north of the equator, anyway), we often marvel about the abundance of Jewish holidays. This year, however, I'm keenly aware of the busy-ness of the spring holiday calendar, too. That has a lot to do with the recent publication of Abigail Pogrebin's My Jewish Year, which launched last month immediately after Purim. Passover soon followed.

This past Sunday at sundown, Yom HaShoah began. And within the next several days we'll observe Yom HaZikaron (Israel's Memorial Day) and Yom HaAtzmaut (Israel's Independence Day). We've been sharing brief and meaningful excerpts from My Jewish Year about these holidays on Twitter and Facebook; if you haven't caught them, please click and scroll through.

Meantime, Abby and her book have been much in the news and around and about. Please see below for some of the media highlights and a list of upcoming appearances.

As always, we invite you to keep in touch with us between newsletters by clicking any of the buttons above to "like" us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, and/or discover fresh content on our website. (If you have received this newsletter because someone has forwarded it to you, please be sure to subscribe for updates yourself.)

Thanks so much for your support!

(More Than) Fifteen Minutes of Fame
Interviewed by Jenna Bush Hager, Abigail Pogrebin recently helped kick off a new series: "Soul Searching TODAY."
Appearing with Rabbi Mark S. Golub on JBS TV, Abigail Pogrebin shared what she learned about Judaism during her year-long journey observing the holidays on the Jewish calendar.
Where do religion and politics intersect? In honor of Easter and Passover, FACE THE NATION's John Dickerson discussed faith in our time with Rod Dreher, Russell Moore, Abigail Pogrebin and Father James Martin.

However you connect with Abby, please share your photos/posts with us. Tag us on Facebook or Twitter (@FigTreeBks). And we love to see the hashtag #MyJewishYear.
