GRADE 3 SHELTER BUILDING
& GARDENING BLOCKS

~ Thank you Ashlea, Jann, Ronaye, and Dave for the photos ~
Thanks to some stellar volunteerism on the part of grade three parents there  is now a new play house on the grade 2/3 play yard. Special thanks to Carsten Crolow and Rebecca McLaren for their organization and leadership of the project and for Li Xiang for organizing the volunteers! The children looked forward with delight to every moment of being on the building site as the structure grew from week to week. The students worked in three rotating groups with six students in the classroom, six at the building site and six in the garden. Thanks to Bonnie Gosse, grade three parent volunteers and children the garden has experienced a revitalization of growth and beauty. The post footings visible around the garden are in preparation for a new garden fence coming soon thanks to Dave Gosse.
