Oh how I love when my yard is turning green, the apple tree’s are flowering and the forsythia is in full bloom and showing its brightest and best yellow dress. Spring has sprung in Connecticut and I could not be happier.  Even the Mayflies are a welcome sign that winter has released its cold grasp and the warm weather will stick around for the months to come. It is also a sign that a good spring-cleaning is on my to do list, and preparations for the summer ahead must now begin. As much as I love Spring, I find it is one of the busiest times of the year, especially as a mother, I find it has a whole extra set of tasks like medical forms for summer activities, gearing up for the spring sports and activities, even shopping for shoes and clothes, since they grew out of everything over the winter. To find a little me time in the Spring can be difficult, and then figuring out what to do with that time can be extra challenging.
