March for Indigenous Rights at the People’s Climate March This Saturday, April 29th!

Join Us in Washington, DC and Oakland, CA
or attend one of many sister marches worldwide!

As Donald Trump celebrates his 100th day in office, join Amazon Watch in the streets of Washington, DC and Oakland, CA to send a message loud and clear: we will continue to resist, we will continue to stand for one another, and we will continue to build.

In DC, we'll participate in the Land Rights Now contingent, highlighting indigenous territorial rights as an important solution to climate change. In the Amazon and around the world, recognition of indigenous rights means less deforestation, less oil extraction, and fewer hydro-electric dams. In addition, we'll be hosting or participating in several other events this week in DC.

In Oakland, we'll take part in a family-friendly rally featuring local community leaders, climate activists, musical and spoken-word performances, climate scientists, information booths, and a variety of hands-on activities for all ages.

If you can't join Amazon Watch in DC or Oakland, sister marches will also take place around the world.
