WARNING:

Addictive qualities of flowers underestimated

And we are not talking about the Opium Poppy or even the Sacred Datura, although they could qualify. We are talking about the release of chemicals in the brain that give you a sense of calm and peace arising from simply adding beauty to your sensual perspective.

Calm Body and Mind with Passionflower
There are more than 400 varieties of passionflower in the world. That is an extraordinary amount of diversity for a plant. There are few flowers as striking as the vibrant passionflower. Even just looking at the flower helps pull you out of your daily hustle and bustle and calm the mind. The passionflower is well-known for its ability to help calm the nervous system and is used in many different medical traditions as a treatment for psychological and neurological conditions. Floral Essences that Heal:

Bleeding Heart
Dicentra spectabilis

Native to Siberia, northern China, Korea and Japan, in the poppy family, this flower carries a remedy for strengthening and clearing the heart of emotional pain. It offers an ability to give love freely and unconditionally without the burden of emotions. The essence of this flower eases heartache and heartbreak.

Forget Me Not
Myosotis

This essence treats feelings of loneliness and isolation, especially after the loss of a loved one. Forget Me Not, helps connect a person to the spiritual world to gain wisdom and awareness of the trans-personal aspects of relationships.

All of the hundreds of flowers in the genus are called Forget Me Nots. The name means mouse’s ear, which is a pretty literal description of the shape of the flower’s small petals. The origin of the name first came from the German term Vergissmeinnicht, literally translates to Forget Me Not.
A German myth describes two lovers walking along the banks of the Danube River noticing the bright blue blossoms. Descending to the bank, the river took the lover, hands full of innocent azure flowers and exclaimed 'forget me not' as the lover dissappeared in the current.

-Symbol by the Freemasons who faced persecution for their beliefs
-Represents the Armenian Genocide that started in 1915
-The Alzheimer’s Society uses it as an icon to raise awareness for the disease and support for caretakers
